Wisenet's SmartCam N2 is an easy way to keep an eye on your home from wherever you are. The free Wisenet SmartCam+ mobile app lets you view previously recorded events or check in on the HD live stream in real time. It also does quite a bit more.
Smarter motion detection
Use the app to customize the areas that will trigger a motion alert. I primarily have security cameras to keep an eye on my dogs, but if you have well-behaved pets, you can turn on “Human Detection” to avoid getting notified about the every movement of your dog or cat.
Recognize familiar faces
The SmartCam also goes a step further than just detecting people. It can actually tell you who they are. Drag and drop the captured images of your frequent visitors into the “Interested Group” list in the app, and you'll receive a push notification with their photo when they arrive. Use the two-way talk feature to let them know you'll be home soon.
Abnormal sound detection
Wisenet's SmartCam is even smart enough to distinguish between every day noise and the really scary stuff. You'll get an immediate alert if it detects sirens, breaking glass, or screaming.
Great footage — day or night
The SmartCam's Wide Dynamic Range means you can feel free to aim it at windows and doors — it will automatically adjust if the subject is backlit. It also transitions between day and night viewing modes so you get the clearest picture no matter what time it is.
Storage options
Footage is recorded in full HD to its microSD card slot (memory card not included), or you can subscribe to an optional SmartCloud storage plan.
